What means “Lifestyle Domination” to me?

In BDSM most people differentiate between “lifestyle domination” and “pro domination”. The main difference is that “lifestyle” usually means that there is no money involved, while “pro dommes” do expect a tribute for their service. Many assume, that “lifestyle domination” is more authentic and has more depth than “pro domination”. I personally couldn’t disagree more, as money as well is a form of power and does – when implemented correctly – intensify the hierarchy.

  • Money does not change the way I treat my subs and fellow students.
  • It doesn’t make me do things I usually wouldn’t.
